Responsible for designing high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for newly released features while maintaining frontend development using Angular with a strong emphasis on writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code. Integrated and debugged API endpoints supporting feature services throughout the release pipeline and collaborated on backend API development to gain a deeper understanding of the overall system architecture and end-to-end process flow.
Worked as an independent contractor for various Australian clients, primarily maintaining and enhancing CMS-based websites by implementing new features and ensuring ongoing site performance. Successfully developed a fully custom WordPress website from the ground up, delivering a solution that met the client's requirements and was approved upon project completion. Beyond web development, provided technical support across a range of business software solutions, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in resolving diverse technical challenges.
Managed the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of client websites by implementing requested updates, bug fixes, and new features. Developed custom WordPress themes using the Underscores (_s) starter theme and built custom Gutenberg blocks to create flexible, reusable page-building components. Additionally, managed HubSpot CRM development, including customization and integration, and designed responsive email templates to support marketing and customer engagement initiatives.
Initially led the UI/UX design and frontend development of a single-page application (SPA), creating user-centered wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and implementing responsive interfaces using Angular. Expanded responsibilities to backend development by building RESTful APIs with C# and .NET Core, designing database schemas, and implementing new features requiring additional data structures. Monitored and maintained API performance through Azure Management Services to identify and resolve logical issues, while also evaluating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of the team's cloud technology initiatives. Additionally, facilitated stand-up meetings on a rotating basis and conducted knowledge-sharing sessions to mentor junior developers and interns.
